Gas Safety Checks

Boiler Servicing
August 16, 2018

All your gas appliances – gas boiler, gas cooker, and gas fire, and any other – should be serviced regularly and checked for gas safety compliance once a year. Skipping these vital things can put you and your family at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Cambridge Plumbing and Heating Installations team has professional Gas Safe registered engineers to carry out thorough testing of all your gas appliances, to check:

  • Gas appliances are burning correctly with the correct operating pressure.
  • Harmful gases are being removed from the appliance safely to the air outside.
  • Any ventilation routes are clear and working properly.
  • All the safety devices are working

Once we carry out out a gas safety check or install a new gas appliance, we issue a gas safety record or gas safety certificate to help you fulfill your legal obligation.
